ALINA NAZARI
Alina Nazari is a fashion design student at HAW Hamburg. Her BA collection, “Familienfäden – woven through generations,” is inspired by Afghan women’s rights activist Maryam. The collection examines how women in Afghanistan utilize clothing as a silent protest and means of expressing identity under repression.
Combining traditional patterns and crafts with contemporary streetwear, key pieces like the bomber jacket and tulle symbolize protection, strength, concealment, and self-expression. Alina’s experimental, draped, and deconstructed designs tell powerful stories of courage and resistance.
