Waiian Aung is a fashion design student from Myanmar, currently based in Berlin, who is still exploring and developing his design voice. His work is shaped by his cultural background and personal experiences, focusing on the tension between control and chaos—combining precise tailoring with rough, imperfect details. This contrast mirrors his complex understanding of identity and memory. Drawing inspiration from stories, art, and everyday life, Waiian sees fashion as a personal language and a continuous journey aimed at expressing emotion and creating space for reflection for both himself and the wearer.
