Waiian Aung is a fashion design student from Myanmar, currently based in Berlin, who is still exploring and developing her design voice. Her work is shaped by her cultural background and personal experiences, focusing on the tension between control and chaos—combining precise tailoring with rough, imperfect details. This contrast mirrors her complex understanding of identity and memory. Drawing inspiration from stories, art, and everyday life, Waiian sees fashion as a personal language and a continuous journey aimed at expressing emotion and creating space for reflection for both herself and the wearer.
